A plane carrying the US defense secretary was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an official statement which stated that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet touched down based on established safety measures and all passengers, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.
