Netflix Selects Ideal Actor for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until the next season, and a beloved, popular member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed recently that the skilled actor has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bon Clay. This character has the ability to change into an perfect replica of anyone they’ve made contact with with their main hand. Escola, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that character reinterpreted as non-binary, rather than as a drag artist, in the live-action show, as in the initial comic and anime.
Escola joins a number of new cast members who will portray the organization to reality, such as chief Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the seasoned performer, a talented actress as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the ensemble as the monarch of Alabasta.
Although the role is a major member of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. With the second season likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this represents a notable change in the placement of their first appearance, one that could signal more adjustments to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the part. Along with their recent voice performance in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and numerous honors for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece show is scheduled to come back for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
